Growing up amongst a family of salsa musicians, Luis Flores began his musical education at an early age playing Latin percussion.
During his introduction to guitar, he focused on classical and flamenco styles, then later became well-versed in jazz and other styles during his enrollment at Pasadena City College.
Flores bequeaths the playing of all the guitar, ukulele and other stringed instruments on Ampledeed's debut album.
Luis rounds out Ampledeed making contributions to the composition and arrangements, working closely with Aaron and Max during the production. Luis is currently over 100 years old, peaking in his physical condition, enjoys teaching mind control to children in his sparse free time, and enjoys the game of Life (Milton Bradley).
